Veronique Menard finished with a 1 W 4 L record at the Amway 9-Ball Championships at Taipei, Taiwan.
Her matches in Group D were:

Xiao-Ting Pan 7 Menard 1
Ho-Yun Tan 7 Menard 4
Menard 7 Keiko Yakawa 6
Kyoko Sone 7 Menard 6
Former World champion, Sone advanced to the final 24 with her double hill victory. If Menard would have won the decisive game, she would have finished 4th in her group, just missing the redraw.
Klatt Climbs To 10th. In World Rankings
After the completion of the World 8-Ball Championships, Canadian Jason Klatt rose to tenth on the WPA World Pool rankings.
With this top 16 in the World ranking, Klatt will now receive an invitation to compete in the Philippine Open, Beijing Open, and World 10-Ball Championships. It is expected that he will be accepting all of the invitations for these International events.
Menard Represents Canada At Amway Event
Veronique Menard, reigning Canadian Women's 8-Ball champion, will be the only Canadian participating in the 2011 Amway WPA Women's World 9-Ball Open in Taipei, Taiwan.
The round robin group play starts on Thursday, March 10th.
